Benchtops 2.0
Making selections for benchtop materials and colours does of course depend on your budget however, there are many laminate benchtops that mimic the look of stone that you may not be aware of and are a much more cost effective solution than stone. Below we have shown the stone samples on top of the Laminex Carrara Marble and then Polytec and Laminex samples on top of stone to highlight how the laminates are featuring designs that look like stone.
If you are selecting any type of benchtop the samples can be small and we would advise further investigating the design colour. This can be done in several ways, if you go to the website of the company that makes the colour/design then you may be able to see the full slab design which if there is a marble look can give you a much better idea of what you will have. We also would recommend searching on the internet for design/colour in finished installations eg searching for Laminex Carrara Marble Kitchens
If you are traveling to any of the major cities then we would encourage you to take the opportunity to pop into look at their showrooms when there, not just the showrooms of the company, even stone mason showroom’s will have big slabs or displays to look at so that you have a better idea. Also any companies that might feature something that you are looking at, for example display homes. You are always welcome to come visit our showroom to look at the displays but unfortunately we cannot display every option and it can be a big decision to make so it’s best to see all that you can.
